Antony Francis - PresidentANTONY FRANCIS
President

Antony Francis leads the strategy and oversees operations for ATC Logistics & Electronics (ATCLE). With 29 years of experience in all aspects of global supply chain and logistics services, Francis brings a unique perspective to his worldwide customer base.

Prior to joining ATCLE in June 2007, Francis was President and COO of Plan Express, Inc., a document management, printing and logistics company serving the construction industry. Previously, he served as acting COO of NewRoads, Inc., a catalog and e-commerce fulfillment provider, was Vice President and General Manager of the Logistics and Electronic Commerce Division for Federal Express’ European, Middle Eastern and African headquarters; and had earlier worked for Ernst & Young in Europe, the Middle East and in Africa.

Francis is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, and a Fellow of the Institute of Transport and Logistics. He is also a Member of the Society of International Business Fellows (SIBF) and sits on the Board of Trustees of Dallas Opera.

Art Smuck - Vice President and General Manager, OperationsART SMUCK
Vice President and General Manager, Operations

Arthur Smuck brings extensive experience and knowledge of strategic planning, customer loyalty, service excellence and facility management to his position as Vice President and General Manager of ATC Logistics & Electronics (ATCLE). Smuck’s 18-year track record includes building, transforming and delivering high performance, best-in-class quality and productivity operations.

Smuck leads the direction, service and quality performance and overall accountability for one of the major business segments for ATCLE, encompassing several client programs in multiple facilities. His continuous drive for process improvement helps ATCLE stay ahead of the competition by creating effective and efficient supply chain strategies.

Prior to joining ATCLE, Smuck was the North Texas Market Manager for Nestle Waters North America where he led daily operations, service and quality performance, and accountability for the Ozarka Water brand. Previously, he was a Senior Consultant and keynote speaker with ThinkIt.

Randy Engel - Vice President and General Manager, AT&TRANDY ENGEL
Vice President and General Manager, AT&T

As Vice President and General Manager of ATC Logistics & Electronics (ATCLE), Randy Engel is responsible for AT&T’s high volume logistics operation. He oversees end-to-end supply chain activities, including outbound fulfillment, reverse logistics, test and repair and kitting & packaging services.

Engel has 15 years of experience in managing efficient supply chains, with core expertise in LEAN and process improvement, ERP implementation, materials handling automation, and project design and implementation. During his tenure with ATCLE, he has successfully managed operations for Fortune 100 customers in the wireless, broadband and medical industries.

Prior to joining ATCLE, Engel was Vice President of Operations for DuraDrive Industries. Engel received a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Distribution from Texas A&M University and also holds an MBA.

Marc Sherman - Vice President, Information TechnologyMARC SHERMAN
Vice President, Information Technology

Marc Sherman spearheads ATC Logistics & Electronics’ (ATCLE) technology strategy, creating innovative information systems solutions that deliver feature-rich, business-critical applications for its clients.  With a hands-on approach to every client engagement, Sherman ensures each customer receives a solution that is tailored to meet their unique business needs and fits seamlessly with ATCLE’s highly scalable platforms that routinely process more than five million transactions per month at service levels that exceed 99.5 percent.

Sherman has been with ATCLE for eight years, serving first as Information Technology Manager and then Director of Information Technology, Logistics. His blend of technical skills and operational experience bring a unique perspective to the management team at ATCLE.

Prior to joining ATCLE, Sherman served in the United States Air Force for 20 years. Sherman received a bachelor’s degree and an MBA in Management Information Systems from Wayland Baptist University.

Ray Estep - Vice President, FinanceRAY ESTEP
Vice President, Finance

Ray Estep brings more than 19 years of experience in finance, business development and corporate strategy to his position as Vice President of Finance at ATC Logistics & Electronics (ATCLE).

Estep has a wide range of experience, holding leadership positions with Fortune 50 and high growth international organizations. Most recently he was with Nokia, where he held several financial and business development leadership roles managing the financial, planning and strategic activities for product lines and new business areas responsible for more than $2 billion in annual sales.

Prior to Nokia, Estep was CFO and Vice President of Finance of CMC International Records, a start-up joint venture entertainment company with Bertelsmann/BMG Music. Previously, Estep was a Senior Consultant with Coopers & Lybrand Consulting in the International Privatization group.

Estep holds a bachelor’s degree and an MBA from the University of Maryland.

Kevin Giles - Vice President, Human ResourcesKEVIN GILES
Vice President, Human Resources

As Vice President of Human Resources, Kevin Giles ensures that ATC Logistics & Electronics (ATCLE) leads the industry in thought leadership and executional excellence by employing the best and brightest talent. With more than 24 years of experience, Giles has a track record of success in human resources, organizational development and achieving an improved bottom line through the use of dynamic, effective people management systems.

Giles oversees all human resource functions for ATCLE’s 2,500 employees in a five-facility, multi-state logistics operation and has successfully managed resources during the company’s 40 percent top-line growth over the last three years.

Previously, Giles served in the United States Navy for 21 years, most recently as a Trainer/Facilitator of organizational development programs. Preceding that position, he was the Operations/Logistics Manager and Vice Presidential Communications Officer for the White House Communications Agency.

Giles graduated Cum Laude with a bachelor’s degree from Excelsior College. He is a certified ISO 9000 Internal Auditor.
