FORT WORTH, Texas, Oct. 30, 2008 – ATC Logistics & Electronics (ATCLE), a subsidiary of ATC Technology Corporation (ATC) (NASDAQ:ATAC), has earned the 2008 Employee Transportation Coordinator (ETC) of the year award from the North Texas Clean Air Coalition (NTCAC). The company was honored at the 2008 NTCAC Working for Clean Air Awards Ceremony on Oct. 24 in Fort Worth.

To qualify for award consideration, ATCLE was initially honored as the "ETC of the Month" for May 2008 by the Fort Worth Transportation Authority (FWTA). The selection was based on the company’s successful implementation of an employee vanpool, as well as stellar participation levels.

ATCLE operates the most dynamic vanpool in the region, with 10 vanpool groups that provide transportation for approximately 100 employees to and from work. The company subsidizes fares for each participant and the vans enjoy preferential parking privileges. The program is in the pilot phase, with plans to expand throughout the entire company.

The Fort Worth Transportation Authority acknowledged the ATCLE vanpool program as a testament to the benefits and savings that can be enjoyed when single occupancy vehicles are reduced, which helps lower traffic congestion and ozone air pollution.

The North Texas Clean Air Coalition was formed in 1993 to educate North Texans about air quality and encourage individuals to "do their share for cleaner air." Members of the coalition include the North Central Texas Council of Governments, the North Texas Commission, the Greater Dallas Chamber, the Fort Worth Chamber of Commerce, Dallas Area Rapid Transit, the Fort Worth Transportation Authority, the Denton County Transportation Authority, and numerous individuals, cities and businesses.
