FORT WORTH, Texas, June 23, 2009 – ATC Logistics & Electronics (ATCLE), a subsidiary of ATC Technology Corporation (ATC) (NASDAQ:ATAC), has been named to the Global Logistics & Supply Chain Strategies and SupplyChainBrain.com 7th Annual 100 Great Supply Chain Partners List.
The "100" encompasses vendors and service providers nominated by supply chain professionals via a six-month online poll for making significant contributions towards the performance of the supply chain. Nominees ranged from global third-party logistics companies to specialized transportation providers.
"The fact that this list is comprised of companies nominated by end-users makes it particularly meaningful," said Antony Francis, president of ATCLE. "We pride ourselves on making a tangible, positive difference on the business operations of our customers on a daily basis. It is invigorating that they think highly of our contributions. Our organization will consider this honor as significant motivation to continue offering industry-leading services, with an uncompromising commitment to performing at the highest level possible."
According to Brad Berger, publisher of SupplyChainBrain: "In 2009, we received more than 2,700 nominations from small and large companies covering scores of different industries. More than 500 vendors of every conceivable type of supply chain activity were nominated - from very specialized technologies, to a wide range of third-party logistics, transportation and consulting services. The 100 companies that received the most qualified nominations are represented on this year’s list."
