ATC Logistics & Electronics Secures
TL 9000 Quality & Performance Designation

Telecom specific certification ensures exceptional processes
and operations

FORT WORTH, Texas, July 28, 2010 – ATC Logistics & Electronics (ATCLE), a subsidiary of ATC Technology Corporation (ATC) (NASDAQ:ATAC), has been certified by Lloyd’s Reqister Quality Assurance to the TL 9000 R5.0/R4.0 Quality Management System Standards for its superior performance and execution. Established by the Quality Excellence for Suppliers of Telecommunications (QuEST) Forum, a consortium of telecommunications suppliers, the prestigious accreditation recognizes ATCLE’s exceptional operations and processes.

TL 9000 is a telecom-focused extension of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 9001:2008 certification. Its focus includes performance measurement, life-cycle management, specialized service functions and ongoing benchmarking.

"Outside evaluation and verification, provides ATCLE with significant credibility with current and future telecom customers," said Anthony Francis, president of ATCLE. "While we already adhere to strict standards such as ISO 9001:2008, the TL 9000 offers an additional layer of quality control that affirms our efforts. Coupled with our internal quality management, this helps to solidify ATCLE as a best-in-class provider."

The demanding certification process encompasses 46 additional requirements beyond ISO 9001:2008. To ensure consistent compliance and benchmarking, ATCLE submits monthly TL 9000 metrics data to measure against other certified organizations. In addition, ATCLE’s dedicated internal quality systems team proactively audits and refines operations to ensure the highest level of customer service possible. This internal analysis encompasses critical business objectives including document control, corrective action, training, equipment calibration, customer service management and adherence to established processes.

About TL 9000

In 1998 QuEST Forum developed the TL 9000 quality management system (QMS) to meet the supply chain quality requirements of the global communications industry. Built on ISO 9001 and the eight quality principles, TL 9000 is designed specifically for the telecommunications industry.

The purpose of TL 9000 is to define the unique communications quality system requirements for design, development, production, delivery, and service. In addition, it specifies measurements for companies to help evaluate the effectiveness of quality implementation and improvement programs.
